A multidiscipline architectural, engineering, and environmental
consulting firm is seeking an Senior Civil Engineer for their growing office
in Huntington, NY office
This is a fantastic
opportunity for a Civil Engineer
looking to make a career change and gain increased responsibility


Responsible for the development and
growth of a focused design team

Supervise/lead a design team to
deliver a diverse array of civil related projects to both private and public sector

Write reports, gather information, track
costs, complete progress reports, write fee proposals for project opportunities
and negotiate proposals with clients

Manage the scope, schedule and budget
for your projects and clients

Responsible for the design and coordination
of work for civil:site projects ranging from due diligence/site feasibility
studies, site engineering, through regulatory approvals and permitting

Coordinate project with other
departments within the firm and outside subconsultants

Deliver a project on:time, within
budget, that meets quality standards of the firm and meets the expectations of
the clients

B.S, Degree in Civil Engineering or
closely related discipline

Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
software programs

12+ years design experience
(with an emphasis on site development projects)

Long Island municipalities and agencies
entitlement processes thorough knowledge preferred

Knowledge of civil engineering
principles and practices of related technical areas

P.E. preferred
applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
